1. Scope and general provisions
These terms apply when you as a business or consumer (“the Customer”) order services via Freightseeker.com.
If the Customer is a natural person, the Customer must be at least 18 years old. Where the Customer is a minor, consent from a legal guardian is required.

Freightseeker complies with applicable consumer legislation. Provisions that expressly address consumers and derive from such legislation do not apply in relation to businesses.
After a purchase is completed, the selected carrier (“the Carrier”) performs the agreed freight service. By completing a purchase, the Customer accepts these terms as well as the Carrier’s applicable conditions.
Freightseeker’s responsibility relates to the period until freight is paid and shipping documentation has been produced via Freightseeker; thereafter, performance responsibility passes in material respects to the Carrier under its terms.
The Customer shall ensure that the shipment’s contents, weight, and dimensions match the information provided at booking. Where information is incorrect or misleading, the Customer shall indemnify Freightseeker for additional costs and loss arising therefrom.
Dangerous goods must not be booked or shipped via Freightseeker. Dangerous goods means contents that may pose a risk to health, safety, property, or the environment during transport or use.
Suspected fraud will be reported to the police.

If the Customer uses its own freight agreement with the Carrier, the transport agreement is entered into directly between the Customer and the Carrier; Freightseeker’s role is then limited to what follows from the selected service.
